The product: Google Maps

The problem: To create a campaign to launch Google Maps in Brazil, with updated maps and an interface in Portuguese, even though most users were already familiar with the product.

The solution: To use the audience’s familiarity with the product to our advantage, by literally launching its most recognizable icon into the skies of São Paulo. And after the flight, we launched a hotsite syncing footage from the balloon with its geodata plotted on Google Maps, as an incentive for those who didn’t know the platform to mess around and get to know it better.
