Solon Brochado is an award-winning account planner, focused on building integrated, media-agnostic communication projects. He has worked with global brands such as Google, Nike, Unilever, Pepsico, Mercedes-Benz as well as major Brazilian clients like TV Globo, Bradesco and TAM Airlines.

Solon has a unique background, having studied Physics and Aeronautical Sciences before earning a Bachelor’s in Journalism. After working with digital media for four years in newspapers and online portals, in 2007 he found his way to advertising. This varied skill set has helped him bring a fresh perspective to planning, and influences his work and decision-making process.

Throughout his career, Solon has continued to write articles for renowned Brazilian magazines such as Superinteressante and Capricho. He also worked as an English-Portuguese translator and transcreator for publishing companies and transcription agencies overseas, and served as a consultant for companies and agencies such as Y&R, Pong Dinasty/IPG and Fiesp (São Paulo’s Industry Federation).

Solon’s experience includes building and managing planning teams; developing agencies’ workflows; overseeing the development of integrated campaigns, digital and social media presences, customer outreach programs; and more. His work has earned him international recognition from Cannes Lions, El Ojo de Iberamerica and The FWA, and has been showcased in Luerzer’s Archive as well as Brazilian trade magazines and newspapers.
